Juventus coach, Massimiliano Allegri, was very disappointed only to draw 0-0 against Torino in the “Derby della Mole” in the 2023-2024 Italian League. The meeting between the two teams took place at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino, Saturday 13 April 2024.
Allegri said Juventus were unlucky in that match and had to be satisfied with just a draw against the home team. He believes that his team should be able to get three points.
“We are disappointed because in the first half we played a good game,” said Allegri, quoted from Juventus’ official website, Sunday (14/4/2024).
“And in the second half we had several good opportunities which we could have used better to win,” added the former AC Milan coach.
The 56 year old coach said he still appreciated the performance of his team. According to him, Torino made things quite difficult for Juventus with tight resistance throughout the match.
“The team played a good game against a good Torino team,” said Allegri.
The man from Italy said his team would continue to improve after the match. This is so that Juventus can achieve maximum results in future matches to secure the 2024-2025 Champions League slot, namely the top four positions.
“But now we have to look forward and start thinking about Friday’s match at Cagliari,” said Allegri.
The Bianconeri are currently still in third place in the standings with 63 points. Meanwhile, Torino is in ninth position with 45 points.
