In the 29th minute, Palmer recorded a hat trick. Pickford made a fatal blunder, his pass was weak. The ball was stolen by Palmer who continued to run and finished by chipping the ball into the empty net. Goal! Chelsea 3-0 Everton.
44th minute, fourth goal for Chelsea. Palmer threw the ball for Cucurella who then followed it up with a cross. The ball was met by Jackson’s volley. Goal! Chelsea 4-0 Everton.
The match resumed, Everton tried to respond with a number of substitutions. Chelsea again showed dominance. 10 minutes passed quickly.
In the 61st minute, Chelsea was awarded a penalty. Palmer stepped forward as executioner and sent the ball into the bottom right corner. Goal! Chelsea 5-0 Everton.
Winning 5-0 made Chelsea play much more comfortably. Pochettino then responded with a number of substitutions. Everton couldn’t fight back.
In the 90th minute, Chelsea scored the sixth goal. Substitute player, Alfie Gilchrist, welcomed Pickford’s thrown ball. Shot from close range. Goal! Chelsea 6-0 Everton.
