Indonesian Team’s Commitment to Improvement Ahead of Week 3 FFWS SEA 2024 Spring

Until the second week, the Indonesian team’s performance in the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) SEA 2024 Spring was still unable to match the strength of the Thai team, which again dominated the top 5 in the standings. The players and coaches are currently working on strategies to perform better in week 3 on 5-7 April 2024 in order to keep their hopes of becoming Southeast Asian champions alive.

In the second week of FFWS SEA, Buriram United Esports was still firmly at the top of the standings with a total of 471 points. They are followed by four other Thai teams, namely CGGG (376), Stalwart Esports (373), Reverse Red (355), and Attack All Around or AAA (310). Evos Divine is the best team from Indonesia, sitting in 6th place in the standings with a total of 285 points.

Indostars also performed quite well by being able to secure 7th place with a total of 281 points. Another Indonesian team, Onic Olympus sits in 9th place with 250 points, 20 adrift of the Expand team from Malaysia with 270 points in 8th place. Meanwhile, RRQ Kazu (235) and Dewa United Apollo (184) sit in 11th and 15th place in the standings respectively.

Even though the competition is not yet halfway through, improvements must be made immediately by all Indonesian teams if they want to enter the Point Rush and Grand Finals rounds in Vietnam later. RRQ Kazu Coach Adi Gustiawan (RRQ Adyy) is well aware of this, who is determined to perform better after only bagging 69 points in Week 2 FFWS SEA 2024 Spring.

“Week 2 is a challenge for us to perform even better, try even harder in the FFWS SEA 2024 Spring Knockout phase. “This competition is still long, there are still steps, there is still time for us to recover and improve again so that we can get even better results in the future, right up to the Grand Finals,” said RRQ Adyy.

Not only RRQ Kazu, Dewa United Apollo has also carried out an in-depth evaluation of the team’s internal body to find the cause of poor performance in the first two weeks of FFWS SEA 2024 Spring. Dewa United Apollo coach Fikri Aulia (KidSR) stated that his team will try to perform better with more mature strategic planning and execution starting in Week 3.

“There were internal problems within the team, and maybe it was too late for us to realize that this was the reason why we failed to execute our plan during the match. Hopefully we can appear more positive in Week 3, we are optimistic that we can remain in the top 12 so we can qualify for the Grand Finals. “Slowly, just by progress,” said KidSR.
