Recently, quite a lot of teams have carried out major overhauls. One of those teams is Geek Fam, who just released the explainer exactly five days ago. Less than a week out from his old team, Luke has now officially joined the red jersey, Bigetron Alpha.
It cannot be denied, two years is quite a long time to defend a team. Starting as an MDL player, Luke slowly managed to enter the MPL ID roster in season 10.
Upgrading to MPL at that time did not show any improvement in the team’s performance. However, since entering MPL Season 12, Geek Fam seems to have become much stronger, both in the regular season and playoffs.
While at Geek Fam, Luke has not been able to give away prestigious trophies. However, he succeeded in bringing his former team to international class tournaments such as the M5 World Championship at the end of 2023.
Not only that, he also brought Geek Fam to become runners up in the 2022 MPLI tournament. Even though he lost to ONIC at that time, at least Luke was able to bring his team up and beat strong challengers from outside Indonesia.
Luke’s presence at Geek Fam also makes competitive tournaments even more exciting and heated. Evidently, since MPL Season 12, the team that Luke plays for has always entered the playoffs and fought fiercely with other squads. Luke himself also has fairly consistent gameplay as an explainer.
This consistency made Bigetron Alpha finally recruit Luke as the main roster for the MPL Season 14 line up. This player’s move apparently coincided with the departure of the previous explainer, Xorizo.
So, Xorizo’s role will finally be filled by Luke as a new member of Bigetron Alpha. However, Xorizo himself has not yet found his new place. However, it is possible that he will replace Luke’s role in Geek Fam.
