Is this a potential replacement for Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the Man United squad?

The puzzle of who will replace Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the right sector of Manchester United’s defense is starting to be revealed. The Red Devils will try to recruit AS Monaco defender Vanderson this summer.

In the last few days, it has been widely reported that Wan-Bissaka will leave Manchester United. The Red Devils are communicating with several EPL clubs to sell the services of the right-back.

Wan-Bissaka’s departure will be homework for Man United. Because Man United only has Diogo Dalot as their right-back, they need to find a replacement.

Sky Sports reports that Man United already has a candidate to replace Wan-Bissaka. They want to recruit Vanderson from AS Monaco.

According to the report, Manchester United has actually been interested in the 23 year old defender for a long time.

Since moving to AS Monaco in 2022, Vanderson has shown great performance. He is not only good at defense, he is also able to actively assist in attacks.

The Man United coaching team believes that the defender could be a good replacement for Wan-Bissaka. That’s why they are interested in getting his services.

However, it will certainly not be easy for Man United to recruit Vanderson from AS Monaco this summer.

In February, the defender renewed his contract with AS Monaco. He is now under contract in Monte Carlo until 2028.

That’s why Man United must be prepared to dig deep into their pockets if they want to hire Vanderson’s services this summer.

Man United itself reportedly has alternative options if they fail to obtain Vanderson’s services.

The Red Devils are reportedly interested in bringing in Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen.

Manchester United is known to be hunting for a new defensive midfielder. They are preparing a long-term replacement for Casemiro in their midfield.

One of the players they are targeting is Martin Zubimendi. The 25 year old midfielder captivated the Man United coaching team after he performed well with the Spanish national team at Euro 2024 yesterday.

Reported by talkSPORT, Man United could obtain Zubimendi’s services this summer. However, they have to dig deep into their pockets for the midfielder’s services.

According to the report, Real Sociedad is resigned to losing Zubimendi this summer.

They actually want to keep the midfielder. Because Zubimendi has a crucial role in La Real’s midfield.

But they know that they do not have the financial capacity to keep the midfielder from being chased by top European teams. So they are open to selling the midfielder this summer.

The report states that Real Sociedad has determined how much Zubimendi will sell for this summer.

They asked Man United and clubs interested in the midfielder to pay around 60 million Euros. They think the price is worth paying for a player with top performance like Zubimendi.

Apart from that, Zubimendi’s contract at Anoeta is still quite long. So the price is considered worth attaching to the midfielder.

According to reports circulating in England, Man United will think twice about paying for Zubimendi’s transfer dowry.

Their transfer funds are currently limited, and they need to sell their players to be able to buy Zubimendi this summer.
