The biggest Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB) tournament in Indonesia, MPL ID Season 14, has finally reached its peak. After going through seven tense rounds, the TLID team managed to defeat the RRQ Hoshi team and break their ambition to once again dominate the champion stage.
This victory is a new history for TLID, formerly known as Aura Esports. In their journey in the Mobile Legends Professional League, this is the first title they have managed to achieve. This moment of victory felt even sweeter because they defeated RRQ Hoshi, the favorite team that was favored to win the title after a long absence from the final match.
The match was tight, with TLID trailing 2-3. In the sixth round, RRQ Hoshi was ahead in gold, giving them the upper hand. However, in the final minutes, TLID managed to turn things around by flattening RRQ Hoshi’s players and equalizing the score to 3-3, giving TLID the opportunity to strategize in the deciding match.
In the seventh round, TLID relied on the combination of Ling and Angela heroes to dominate the fight. The quality of teamfights shown by Aran and his teammates made it difficult for RRQ Hoshi to develop. Although RRQ tried to defend themselves, TLID’s solid coordination managed to dampen their resistance.
TLID’s dominance continued until the end of the match. When TLID managed to secure Lord, Skylar and the RRQ Hoshi team were only able to defend. However, TLID’s aggressiveness in continuing to press finally paid off. The match ended in the 14th minute, with TLID being crowned the Galaxy Kings in MPL ID Season 14!
