Mohamed Salah has come out clearly and shut the door on any move away from Liverpool especially for Paris Saint-Germain.
Having been a key contributor to the success of the Reds after signing for the club in 2017, the Egyptian forward has come out to reaffirm his loyalty to Liverpool, as he pledged to remain a part of the team’s dream.
“This is exactly why I am very happy at Liverpool. It has been my honour to play for the club and I feel so close to the fans and players at the club.” Salah said.
“Getting to wear this shirt is a privilege, and I intend on continuing doing amazing things here.” Salah added.
In his time at Liverpool, Salah has been one of the most successful players. He demonstrated an outrageously high speed, superior ball control, and proved himself to be one of the best goal scorers in the world.
He is a part of Liverpool’s success storey in particular; the 2019 champions league and the 2020 premier league.
However, the current season has not been easy for them; injuries and a tendency to swap between good performances and poor ones affect the team commonly.
Salah remained focused on the football pitch and has been providing fireworks so far. The penalty against City was the 11th in the Premier League and he trails only Haaland in terms of scoring.
While, his contribution of the pass that led to Cody Gakpo’s goal was his seventh assist in 13 Premier League matches.
“Until now this is the last City game I will play for Liverpool so I was just going to enjoy it.” Salah said.
“The atmosphere was incredible so I will enjoy every second here. Hopefully we just win the league and will see what will happen.” Salah added.
