Salah’s Future at Liverpool Remains Uncertain

Mohamed Salah has revealed during an interview that negotiations for his new contract have shown no major progress with Liverpool.

The Premier League contract signed by Salah remains valid until 2025 summer when future possibilities will be analysed regarding his relationship with Liverpool.

“No news. In a very polite way. I’m just thinking about the Premier League and we’ll see end of the season.” Salah said.

Future contract negotiations between Liverpool and Salah will determine their ability to find mutually satisfactory terms.

Salah and Liverpool management will negotiate unified terms on contract extension because both entities want to maintain his services after his current agreement expires.

“I think it’s my best season, so far I think it’s my best season because I make the other players around me better – that’s what I feel,” Salah said.

“I know their games, all the numbers around all the players, it’s going to be higher than other seasons, plus my assists is higher which means I help them a lot.” Salah added.

The 2-0 win over Manchester City featured Salah’s goalscoring performance along with an assist as Liverpool stretched their Premier League lead to 11 points.

Liverpool manager Arne Slot made a humorous comment about Salah’s current strong performance which the club now struggles to extend his contract.

“You can look at it in both ways. You can say the better Salah does the more expensive he might become and if he did really worse we would have second thoughts to extend his contract.” Slot said

Despite his growing free transfer situation following his contract expiration next summer, the Egyptian player continues driving Liverpool toward their 20th English football title.

The Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal leads all other Saudi league teams in pursuing Salah if he decides to leave Liverpool.
