The announcement was made at the closing of Honor of Kings’ latest global tournament, the Honor of Kings Invitational Season 3 in Manila, Philippines.
OG is known as one of the most successful esports teams in the world, especially in MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) games. They have won The International twice, the DOTA 2 world championship, and are the only team to have successfully defended the title consecutively. In addition, OG has also won five DOTA 2 Majors, proving their dominance in the competitive scene.
With this incredible experience and achievements, OG is ready to bring their expertise to the world of Honor of Kings, the world’s most popular mobile MOBA game with over 100 million daily active users.
OG will join teams from the Americas, Europe, Turkey, and CIS in a new league called the Honor of Kings Major West League.
Success in the league’s Spring Season will lead OG to the Honor of Kings World Cup in July 2025, which is part of the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025.
