Pique was reported to leave Barcelona for the sake of Shakira. The Barcelona superstar, Gerard Pique was considering to make a move to United States in the 2018, as read by the Spain media leaks.
Pique was always in the starting line up ever since his return move to the Catalan club from Manchester United back in 2008.
Ever since his time in the Camp Nou, he had won a lot of trophies both for in the club level and also in the National team level, and had also made his name as the one of the best defender to play the game.
Pique was won everything in the club level with Barcelona, with the league, the league cup, the super cup, the Champions league, and the European super cup, also a club world cup.
On the other hand, with Spain National Team, Pique was one time world Champion and also one time European Champion when Spain dominating the International level football competition back in 2008-2010.
However, despite of his achievement with Barcelona, it does not made Pique to think that he might want to stay at the Catalan club forever or even to retire at there. He was reported to made a plan to move to MLS (Major League Soccer) after 2018 World Cup. The decision was said to be made to please his wife, the world famous singer, Shakira.
Shakira want to had a peaceful life for both of them and that is why she wants to leave Catalonia, following Pique fame as the superstar in the city club and also his frontal comment for their arc enemy team, Real Madrid.
And interestingly, the team that he planned to join was none other than La Galaxy or New York City (the team where his former teammate David Villa also joined few years back).
