Managers sacking window has opened. Today we shall discuss about the recent updates that have become headlines in English league.
Starting off , Tony Fernandes , owner of Queen park rangers has tweeted that the new club manager Chris Ramsey can stay for a “very long time “earlier , Ramsey who was appointed as full boss until the end of this season on Friday. But the owner made it clear publicly that the new man can stay as much as possible. Sources have said that this contract has been made on the wish and will of QPR club players.
Falcao, the Colombian star who couldn’t show his skills in last year’s 2014 World Cup in Brazil due to injury became a life line for a boy. It is reported that a kid who was suffering from kidney dialysis was in need of a kidney. The family was searching for a donor but was not being lucky to find one. But few weeks back the child’s mother asked the national hero to help the boy by asking people to donate a kidney. It was this when the Manchester United striker released a statement for help, thousands of people came forward to help and finally a kidney was arranged for the boy.
Aston Villa has sacked their manager Paul Lambert and appointed Tim Sherwood on Wednesday after the team lost to hull by 2-0. The club has not won a single game in their last ten matches while scoring only two goals. Sherwood, 46, replaced Andre Villas-Boas as Tottenham manager in December 2013 but has been out of work since being sacked at the end of season.
“It is a great honor to manage one of the biggest clubs in English football,” said Sherwood.
“I can’t wait to get started and I’m really looking forward to the challenge.”
Sherwood takes over a Villa side that have struggled badly since taking 10 points from their first four matches – scoring just 12 league goals in 25 games, the lowest in Premier League history at that stage. After the Tuesday‘s defeat the club has gone to relegation zone. Sherwood who was favorite to be named as Harry Redknapp’s successor at QPR ended up being at more fragile Aston Villa due to not desired negotiations.
