Dissatisfied with his playing time, Oliver Giroud threatened to leave Arsenal at this summer, and he could walk away now. This is good news in Premier League, several clubs would like to sign him this summer.
On the lookout, West Ham United showed their interest in Giroud in recent weeks. The Hammers would be ready to offer 23 million euros for this transfer. And the French international could earn 7 million euros e year according to the report.
However, West Ham should do everything possible to secure Giroud’s signature. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been discussing a new contract for his boy, he insists want to see the 30-year-old extend his contract at Emirate.
“He won a lot of points when he came in, because he scored many times. He has qualities that our team needs,” Wenger told.
Giroud, also targeted by Olympique de Marseille dan Olympique Lyonnais, he is estimated 12 25 million euros. Lyon president Jean-Michael Aulas admitted they are interested in Giroud from Emirates Stadium this summer.
“There has been an approach, at some point for Giroud,” Aulas told to a French media. “He is a boy that we like, who scores lots of goals and who has a lot ambition for Russia World Cup.” he added.
On the other hands, Lyon Alexandre Lacazette was insisted to move to La Liga club Atletico Madrid this summer but the big problem is FIFA banned Atletico transfer activities until next January.
“Evryone knows Atletico Madrid were going to pay 53 million euros plus a 12 million euros. That is the price for a player who scored 25 to 30 goals every year.” Aulas told.

Oliver Giroud has been a superb player for Arsene Wenger’s side since his 15 million euros move from Montpellier in 2012 and is still a first choice for France international team. He scored 11 goal and 5 assists for Arsenal last season.
