Leonardo Bonucci prepares to complete AC Milan transfer from Juventus. Milan hope a deal for the central defender will be done in the next few days since he arrived at the San Siro.
“AC Milan announce that we have underwritten with Juventus FC a contract permanent transfer for the player Leonardo Bonucci. The player, pending medical tests over the next few days, will tie himself to Milan in a five-year contract.” announced Milan thru their official site.
According to report, Juventus agreed to take the transfer fee of 42 million euros, while the star will earn 7, 5 million euros annual contract. This is claimed Bonucci would become highest paid player in the Italian Serie A.
Bonucci was seen as one of the world’s best defender players in the world, he had just renewed his contract with Juve to 2021.
There is a rumour said why the Old Lady insist to let their best central defender go. First of all, Bonucci never denied the terrible relations he maintained with Juventus’ manager Massimiliano Allegri. Recently, Allegri no doubted tu put his player on the sidelines of the 8th final of Champions League against FC Poro. But there would be another reason for this early departure ahead this summer.
Former Juve’s star Alessandro Del Piero also gives his opinion over Bonucci’s decision. He thinks it’s only a joke from former his team-mate. “I don’t know what to say as a Juventus fan,” Piero said to media.
“I didn’t expect it. It’s just come like a bolt from the blue. I thought it was a joke at first. Let’s just say it was very, very surprising.” he added.

Previously, Bonucci had been linked with a move to Premier League clubs Manchester City and Chelsea, but he insisted to stay at Juventus after signed a new contract in last December.
The 30-year central defender has won Serie A in each of the last six seasons with Juventus, and he also won the campaign title with Inter Milan in 2016. Last season, he has scored 6 goals and assisted 1 in all competitions for Juventus under Massimiliano Allegri.
