Jon Jones claims that he is the best AMM fighter of all time

American fighter Jon Jones doesn’t feel the need to wait for Daniel Cormier to win back the UFC lightweight title before claiming himself as the greatest mixed-martial arts fighter of all time.

Jones defeated Cormier in their rematch at UFC 214 at the Honda Center in Anaheim on Saturday night. When both fighters came to blows in January 2015, Jones had a unanimous verdict from judges.

The Bones made a notable appearance in the program undisputed, on the Fox Sports channel. When asked if his big rivalry Cormier was going to affect his performance in any way, Jones responded in the negative.

“I don’t think it will have any impact on the duel,” Jones said. “I have been fighting for 10 years now. These 10 years, I passed them without losing a single fight.

“I was opposed to several types of fighters, some of whom I hated most, others for whom I had great respect. The result has always been the same and it will be the same [Saturday],” he added.

The 30-year-old said he no doubt in extolling his achievements, “I think I’m already the best fighter of all time. My record tells for itself. I have defeated six fighters of the Sports Hall of Fame and my record can not be compared to any other fighter. But this confrontation is enormous for my legend. This is the case for each of my fights,” Jones said.

On the other side, Cormier said he was happy to see Jones attacking him thorough social media for a few weeks.

“Daniel [Cormier] knows that his opponent is on the lookout for his preparation by closely monitoring his Instagram post.” Jones said.

“He’s there every day. He constantly feels the need to see where I am. In his mind, the question that always comes back to him: ‘Can I beat him again without using the doping products I have used before? The answer is that he will not. He knows he can not get the better of me without cheating,” he added.
