Arsenal coach, Mikel Arteta wants his team’s last home match in 2023 to be lively. Because of that, he wants Arsenal fans to enliven the Emirates Stadium to help the Gunners win when they welcome West Ham United in the 2023-2024 Premier League match.
Arsenal will host West Ham at the Emirates Stadium, on Friday 29 December 2023. This is a very important match for the Gunners to win if they want to regain top position in the standings after Liverpool’s coup.
Apart from that, this is special because the match against West Ham will be Arsenal’s last home match in 2023. Arteta also wants to give a sweet result in this match. Therefore, he asked the Gunners fans to fill the stadium to raise the confidence of his team.
“For tomorrow, please go to the stadium and make the stadium rock. “Support the team, inspire them again, and the team will try to do everything they can,” said Arteta, quoted from Arsenal’s official website, Friday (29/12/2023).
“This will be the last game of the year in front of you, so this is a special moment, so let’s make it beautiful,” he continued.
On the other hand, Arteta also expressed his gratitude to all Arsenal fans. Because, they have solidly supported the Gunners both in home and away matches throughout 2023.
“Thank you for everything the fans have done throughout the year and the way they have supported and inspired the team,” added Arteta.
