Garena Call of Duty®: Mobile (CODM) released the latest Patch Update entitled Season 5: Digital Dusk starting May 21 2024. In this 5th Season players will get various interesting updates, starting from the return of the classic Alcatraz map and Shoot House, Map Multiplayer (MP), Frequency, and Secondary Machine Pistol weapons.
Players can reminisce about the Alcatraz Battle Royale (BR) Map through Tournament mode which is available every weekend, or Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 18.00-23.00 WIB. Meanwhile, the Multiplayer (MP) Shoot House map will return to the Ranked Map rotation for Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint and Domination modes.
Through the Season 5 Patch Update: Digital Dusk, CODM also presents a new Machine Pistol which is a Secondary Hybrid weapon by combining the advantages of a Pistol and a Sub Machine Gun (SMG). This weapon has a fairly high fire rate which can be supported by the Akimbo Perk for Dual Wield (used on both hands). To get the Machine Pistol weapon for FREE, players need to upgrade their Battle Pass Level to Season 5: Digital Dusk.
Apart from the Machine Pistol, CODM also maintains several weapons that have similar capabilities, namely Renetti, L-CAR 9, Dobvra (using Gunsmith Sorokin 140mm Auto Magazine), and Nail Gun.
Like a patch update every season, Season 5: Digital Dusk Garena CODM makes several adjustments or buffs and nerfs to weapons to provide new challenges to players.
One of the weapons that received significant nerf this season is the MG42, LW3 Tundra, and also Echo (for BR mode). These three weapons would be too overpowered in the previous season so adjustments need to be made to make the game more challenging.
10 other weapons received buffs to be able to match other weapons this season, such as M13, ASM10, PKM, Bruen MK9, Dingo, M4LMG, Holger 26, Groza, HBRa3, and BK57.
