Newcastle United managed to bring in Alexander Isak, who previously defended Spanish La Liga club Real Sociedad.
Alexander Isak was brought in by Newcastle management in the rest of the transfer market this summer.
Quoted by SportReviews from the Sky Sports page, Newcastle United is rumored to have spent 63 million pounds.
Funds of 63 million pounds was used to bring Isak, which is also the most expensive purchase of The Magpies in history.
Newcastle United have awarded the Swede a long-term contract and Isak will wear the number 14 shirt.
Even so the club is still waiting for the International Clearance, but the necessary documents have been submitted by the club in time to meet the weekend deadline.
Alexander Isak said he was delighted to have completed his move to Newcastle United and he was pleased with the big decision he had made.
“This is an amazing, historic club that I think anyone would want to play with amazing fans. They are a big part of why I came here and also the project of the club, which is one I believe in,” said Isak.
“You always want to get into the team and know how they play. I think Newcastle play very interesting football and I want to be a part of that.”
Newcastle United coach Eddie Howe said he was pleased with Isak’s decision to join The Toon Army.
Eddie Howe also believes the 22-year-old can make a big contribution to the team.
“He is very good technically, with a mix of attributes that would complement us, but he is also at a great age to grow with this club. I would like to thank the owners and the transfer committee for bringing Alexander to Newcastle. We are all delighted that he has joined. ,” said Howe.
Alexander Isak was previously the mainstay of Real Sociedad’s striker since arriving from Borussia Dortmund.
Especially when Alexander Isak was brought in from the summer of 2019 for a transfer fee of 15 million euros.
During his time at Real Sociedad, the 22-year-old has made 132 appearances in various competitions and contributed 44 goals and 8 assists from a total of 7,960 minutes played.
Last season Isak made 41 appearances with 10 goals and 3 assists in all competitions from a total of 2,761 minutes played.
Alexander Isak also successfully brought Real Sociedad to end the season in 6th position in the Spanish League.
