Arsenal midfielder Alexis Sanchez is reportedly wanted by Manchester United. However, the 29-year-old player rejected an offer from the Red Devils, according to reports.
Sanchez has been linked with his former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola, either in the last summer or this January window, but United had also expressed their interest.
Speaking to media, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger told that there is nothing concrete to discuss over the future of the Chilean international.
“Look, honestly, I cannot tell you much more at the moment because nothing is really concrete.” Wenger said during a press conference.
“You conclude that. You could say at the moment, it’s not that I don’t want to inform you, I don’t want to give you wrong information. Nothing is decided one way or another.” Wenger added.
The French manager also added City and United not in his star bidding war but he responded brilliant when asked if Sanchez prefer to play for Guardiola or Mourinho.
“A bidding war is always beneficial to a club who can take advantage of it, but we are not in that. Normally, we want him to stay until the end of the season, we will see.” Wenger said.
“I would want to play for the club where I am with 100 percent commitment. In the way we find exactly same the player, certainly not. He’s an exceptional football player, a world-class player.” he added.

United manager Jose Mourinho, meanwhile, told media that Sanchez could be their next star before the winter transfer closing.
“I don’t know if ethical or correct. The word we can find to be speaking about players of other clubs. If somebody speaks of one of my players to tell we are interested or we are not interested, I wouldn’t be very, very happy.” Mourinho said.
“Sanchez is an Arsenal player, I don’t know but probably this weekend he is going to defend Arsenal, so I don’t think it’s correct to say things about Alexis Sanchez.
“At the general level what I can say is myself and the Manchester United board, the owners, we don’t believe a lot in the January market, we don’t believe in signing a player just to sign a player.” former Chelsea manager added.
Sanchez joined Arsenal from Barcelona in 2014 with £31.7 and so far he scored 8 goals and 3 assists in 20 appearances for the Gunners.
