Manchester United star Alexis Sanchez has fallen into a low mood and even made a series of weird moves, according to British media reports. He wants to leave the club when the transfer window reopens in January.
Sanchez is now training with the Chilean national team to prepare for the match with Costa Rica and Honduras. In the national team, he was accused of “behaving strangely”, including being sulking in training alone.
Chile’s “La Trecara” revealed that Sanchez had been in training for more than an hour without talking to anyone, but sitting alone on the field, looking at his teammates playing net football. Later, under the coach’s persuasion, he joined the ranks of his teammates, but some national teammates said that Sanchez’s move did look strange.
The Red Devils lured Sanchez away from Arsenal in January with Jose Mourinho beating rival Man City to secure the player’s signature for a four-and-a-half-year contract.
Mourinho promised Sanchez a starring role, guaranteeing him he would become the club’s talisman. However, former Chelsea coach has not necessarily given him the freedom to be an Old Trafford hit.
The Chilean has often been deployed on the left wing, where he has jostled with Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford for a starting berth.
Sanchez was benched on Sunday for the Manchester derby with Mourinho choosing to give Rashford the job of leading the line.
“Injury must have been the only reason why Sanchez did not start the Manchester derby. We saw a big improvement from him playing through the middle against Juventus but he picked up a dead leg in that game.” former Arsenal star Martin Keown said.

According to The Times, Sanchez felt “isolated” and “unhappy” at Old Trafford. In the club, he only talked to three teammates, Juan Mata, David de Gea and Romelu Lukaku. This sense of loneliness and the recent neglect of Mourinho have already made the 29-year-old striker feel like they are.
“He has had enough, and his relationship with Mourinho has also broken. He knows that he can’t move away now, but he is already talking to the agent to see what can be done to end this situation.” Sanchez’s agent said.
Sanchez earns £ 500,000-a-week at United, making him the highest-paid player at the club. It eclipses the £ 290,000-a-week that Frenchman Paul Pogba reportedly gets.
