Andy Murray misses the Australian Open, This is proof

This is proof that Andy Murray misses the Australian Open

Andy Murray

Andy Murray one of the world’s best tennis players who won the hearts of the British population when he claimed the first Grand Slam title of his career at the 2012 US Open.

This glorious achievement ended 76 years of waiting for the British men’s tennis world since former British tennis player Fred Perry won the Grand Slam title in the 1936 season.Prior to winning the 2012 US Open, the former world number 1 had lost four of the finals of the prestigious tournament.

The 33-year-old has lost the magic touch since he injured his hip. As a result of this injury, he had to undergo surgery which made him out of the world of tennis for quite a long time. Since the 2017 season, he has rarely competed consistently.

Recently, the player who has won three Grand Slam titles is scheduled to fly to Australia to compete in the Australian Open. Unfortunately, he had to resign from the Grand Slam after he tested positive for COVID-19.

Under 2021 Australian Open protocol the world number 123 will not make it there on time, especially for the mandatory 14-day quarantine.

To see the funny thing about this sad thing, Murray made a snowman and uploaded it through his personal Instagram account.

The tennis player who already has three children decorates the snowman with a tennis racket and wears an AMC hat (Andy Murray Castore). He also places a tennis ball in the hand of the snowman made of sticks.

He further showed his longing for the Australian Open by adding a mask to cover the snowman and writing, “Kicked out of the Australian Open.”

The British national has certainly missed the chance to compete again. The whole world of tennis will look forward to seeing him return to competition at the highest level, in the best form he has ever put on as many seasons ago.

Throughout his career, Murray has enjoyed success not only in Grand Slams and other ATP tournaments, but also in the multi-international sporting event, the Olympics. To date, he has bagged two Olympic singles gold medals which he won in 2012 (London) and 2016 (Rio de Janeiro).
