Argentina national team player, Angel Di Maria, gave advice to the junior who strengthens Manchester United, Alejandro Garnacho. Fideo – Di Maria’s nickname – said that Aleajandro Garnacho should imitate the celebration of Lionel Messi, who is actually a senior in the Argentine national team, not even Cristiano Ronaldo.
Just for your information, Alejandro Garnacho is known as a fan of Cristiano Ronaldo. When he was on the same team as Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United in 2021-2022, Garnacho often imitated CR7’s goal celebration, even now.
Most recently, the player who was tackled by Asnawi Mangkualam made a typical ‘SIUUUUU’ celebration in November 2023 after his spectacular overhead kick went into Everton’s goal.
However, that wasn’t the only celebration that Garnacho tried to imitate from Cristiano Ronaldo. The 19 year old player also imitated Cristiano Ronaldo’s ‘sleep’ celebration by closing his eyes and folding his arms across his chest.
This cannot be separated from the fact that Garnacho grew up idolizing Cristiano Ronaldo, not his compatriot, Lionel Messi. From this point of view, his admiration and respect for the 38-year-old megastar makes sense.
“The only thing I won’t do is celebrate like Cristiano. “I will score a goal and I will do (celebrate) like Messi does,” said Angel Di Maria, referring to Garnacho, quoting from The People’s Person, Thursday (1/2/2024).
Di Maria said that because Alejandro Garnacho received ridicule from his teammates in the Argentina national team for CR7’s celebration. Argentine national team midfielder, Rodrigo De Paul, (Atletico Madrid) is the person who questioned this.
“The person who taunts (Garnacho) the most with that and speaks to him in Spanish is Rodri (De Paul), who always messes with him. “He’s the one who messes it up the most with those things, and that’s normal,” concluded Di Maria.
