Aragon MotoGP FP2 Results: Martin Fastest, Marc Marquez 8th

Pramac’s Jorge Martin became the fastest in the second free practice (FP2) of the 2022 MotoGP Aragon at the MotorLand Circuit, Friday (16/9). Meanwhile, Marc Marquez is in eighth position.

Shortly after the Aragon MotoGP FP2 started, Aprilia’s Aleix Espargaro was the fastest with a time of 1 minute 48.686 seconds.

Luca Marini of VR46 tried to give Espargaro competition by taking over the pole position.

When FP2 MotoGP Aragon left 38 minutes, Ducati racer Francesco Bagnaia sped as the fastest with a score of 1 minute 47.853 seconds. Followed by Luca Marini and Marc Marquez in the top three.

Defending champion Fabio Quartararo still looks to be struggling as the fastest in free practice. Quartararo can only be in second position shifting Marini.

Aleix Espargaro who finished fourth fell at Turn 14 due to the downside and widened to the left.

Espargaro’s teammate Maverick Vinales was the fastest when the Aragon MotoGP FP2 was 29 minutes less, with a travel time of 1 minute 47.842 seconds.

The second and third positions behind Vinales are occupied by Pecco Bagnaia and Fabio Quartararo. After 21 minutes of free practice, Aleix Espargaro returned to the track after a fall. Marc Marquez who returned to MotoGP Aragon in sixth position.

Vinales has lasted long enough as the fastest in FP2 MotoGP Aragon with a record of 1 minute 47.842 seconds.

The remaining six minutes of Aragon’s MotoGP FP2 were used by the racers to speed up their motorbikes. Suzuki’s Alex Rins had a time of 1 minute 47.665 seconds, overtaking Vinales.

Pramac’s Jorge Martin took turns displacing Rins from pole position after recording 1 47.402 seconds. Martin’s position was followed by Quartararo and Rins.

Jorge Martin became the fastest in FP2 MotoGP Aragon 2022, followed by Fabio Quartararo and Johann Zarco in the top three. Meanwhile, Marc Marquez is in eighth position.
