PUBG Mobile National Championship Indonesia (PMNC ID) 2024 has ended on Sunday (19/1). The Dewa United Helios team had to be satisfied with ending the highest PUBGM competition in Indonesia in seventh place.
After playing 18 games, Dewa United Helios managed to collect a total of 113 points from placements and eliminations. However, this result made Dewa United Helios have to bury their dream of appearing in the 2025 PMSL Spring.
During the 2024 PMNC ID, coach Ducky fielded Dewa United Helios’ mainstay roster consisting of Daybot, Noox, Arcral, and Ramones. On the first matchday, Arcral and his friends had difficulty gaining placement and elimination points due to the tight battle zone.
Entering the second day, Dewa United Helios began to show improved performance by winning 1 Winner Winner Chicken Dinner (WWCD) and collecting more elimination points. Unfortunately, this revival momentum could not be maintained on the closing day of 2024 PMNC ID.
In an interview session quoted from DewaUnited, Dewa United Helios rusher, Arcral, revealed that the team’s toughest challenge was facing a chaotic drop zone and being forced to fight in the early game when resource collection was not yet mature.
“The difficulty is in the drop zone. Because the teams whose drop zones are close to us are quite troublesome and often clash early. In the end, this makes it difficult for us to get resources and vehicles,” said Arcral.
Despite failing to perform optimally in the 2024 PMNC ID, Dewa United Helios learned many valuable lessons to better prepare themselves for the upcoming tournament. Coach Ducky said that a comprehensive evaluation will be carried out to improve the team’s performance.
“We will focus on improving rotation, communication, and strategy to face teams with a more aggressive playing style. This experience at PMNC ID is a valuable lesson for us,” said Ducky.
