The president of Argentina Football Association (AFA) Claudio Tapia request Barcelona to not always force Messi to play or not force Messi to overplay his part.
It was very obvious to state the significance of Messi contribution in Barcelona. Messi has always been there for Barcelona from season to season, giving his best and contribute a lot in Barcelona success these few years back. The same things repeated this season when he is the main part of Ernesto Valverde squad that have chance to win the treble if they play it right.
Messi is 30 years old this season and he had been part of 29 Barcelona games as starter and 3 times as a substitution is all of the competition this season.
No one will argue on how hard Messi had tried to play for Barcelona, most of the Barcelona fans will love it to see how the best player in the world giving their all to achieve the best for their beloved team, but for some people, they might not be the case.
Claudio Tapia will be one of the people who wish Messi is not overplay or overuse his energy to help Barcelona. It comes with a reason. Tapia aware that the World Cup in Russia is coming therefore he wishes that Messi is not over-fatigue for Barcelona and also wish that the magician will be fresh right before World Cup as the whole Argentina hang their hope on their little maestro.
We can’t blame Claudio Tapia for his egoist claimed if we could understand how hungry they are for winning the trophy were they last won it back in 1986.
