The Argentina national team was challenged by the Bolivian national team at the Estadio Monumental on matchday 10 of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers in the CONMEBOL zone, Wednesday (16/10/2024). The match between Argentina and Bolivia in Buenos Aires ended with a score of 6-0.
In the first half, Argentina had led 3-0 through goals from Lionel Messi in the 19th minute, Lautaro Martinez in the 43rd minute, and Julian Alvarez in the 45+3rd minute. Substitute Thiago Almada changed the score to 4-0 in the 69th minute. Messi then added two goals in the 84th and 86th minutes to complete his hat-trick and bring Argentina to a 6-0 lead.
Messi was absolutely crazy in this match. In addition to the hat-trick, the Argentine captain also designed two assists, namely for goals from Lautaro Martinez and Julian Alvarez.

This victory keeps Argentina firmly at the top of the standings with 22 points from ten matches (W7 D1 L2). Meanwhile, Bolivia are 10 points (W4 D0 L6) behind Argentina.
