Emery admitted that his plan and the management for the Gunners was to brought in three extra players in January. Emery was still pleased with the transfer window movement and satisfy the squad that he had right now despise their plan did not go as they wish.
“We talked about the possibility of brought in three new players, as long as they could come and agree with our agreement, and if we think that their performances will be a surplus to the players we have right now.” Emery told the media.
“We only had Suarez and I am very pleased. The club has work very hard and very well as well. In the winter transfer windows, things are not as easy as in summer, and we also cannot make a big change for the squad to help us.” Emery continues.
“I am very please with the players that I have with me right now. We have several players that are in the recovery and they are coming back soon and I think they can be a significant help to the team in the last few months of the season.”
This coming weekend, Arsenal has to face a tough opponent in Manchester City. In the last match against the Citizen in August of last year, they were beater 2-0.
City was also in their top condition, although they were beaten by Newcastle this last Wednesday. Emery also admit that the last few matches in the English Premier League will be tough for him and the team.
