Arsene Wenger trusts his Arsenal side can exploit the “fear factor” against Olympiakos to endure to the Champions League last 16.
The Gunners are in Greece on Wednesday, expecting to win 2-0, or by any edge on the off chance that they score three or more objectives keeping in mind the end goal to achieve the following round.
“We are facing a side that at the moment is qualified,” said Wenger.
“But let’s not forget they can as well lose what they have so that can create a fear factor as well.”
A victory in Greece would leave Arsenal level on nine focuses with Olympiakos, who won the opposite apparatus 3-2 in September.
The sudden death round for isolating groups tied on focuses is firstly the higher number of focuses picked up in matches between two groups, which would again see the Gunners and Olympiakos level.
After that comes objective distinction in matches between two groups, then the most astounding number of objectives in matches between the groups being referred to, trailed by away objectives in amusements challenged by those sides.
On the off chance that all are level, then objective contrast in all gathering matches is utilized.
Arsenal’s general objective contrast is unrivaled, however, that thrashing at Emirates Stadium has abandoned them requiring a 2-0 win or one where they score no less than three objectives.
“The best way for us to achieve it is to believe in our quality,” added Wenger.
“Mentally, you prepare yourself to adapt to every situation and give the right response to every situation you face.
“We will have to adapt to what is happening on the pitch and to all of the scenarios, accept them and respond.”
Arsenal has made it past the gathering stage in the last 15 seasons, in spite of the fact that they have been thumped out in the last 16 in each of the previous five seasons.
On the other hand, Wenger trusts his side can be a danger in the opposition on the off chance that they advance.
“We just want to give absolutely everything to qualify. If you want to jump over a hurdle you don’t think what happens if you miss,” said the Frenchman.
“We have been a bit unlucky but if we get through we will be dangerous, that is for sure.”
