Soon after the completion of World Cup 2014, the TSG team or the FIFA’s Technical Study Group has announced its report. This report is based on the comprehensive statistics and the findings that are related to the analysis of 64 matches played during that event. In this report they have also offered a great importance to the tactical flexibility teams have adopted, things related to playing a more attacking and fast paced football, and the impact that was made by several players during that event. They have also added the report for GLT or known as Goal Line Technology which is this time implemented by many teams. In this report, things related to the vanishing spray are also added by this technical group.
This document can be availed on the official FIFA site. At the same time, this technical group has also decided to announce the DVD prints for the associated members so that they can be used further for educational means. It’s the TSG report that is expected to acquire more importance during the technical conference that will be held in Panama City by FIFA. This conference will start from 11th September. Such events are often intended as the platforms where FIFA allows its associated members and confederations to pay more attentions towards the tactical and technical analysis of the main event like World Cup.
For this conference, technical directors and senior coaches are also invited to join and share things. It is expected that delegations from CONMEBOL and CONCACAF will come to the Panama City for this conference on both 11th and 12th September. Apart from the presentation of this report by TSG, delegations will also look for the development and coaching trends associated with this game. Due to this reason, such conference is also considered as a flagship event. They will also hold an important session where they will focus greatly on the next World Cup that will be organized in Germany.
