The Azerbaijan Grand Prix Commissioners will study the telemetry data of Mercedes’ driver Lewis Hamilton after his incident with Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel during the second of the race on Sunday.
According to report, the telemetry data will be analysed by the FIA. However, contradicted the version of the four-time world champion. The data showed that Hamilton did not brake harder than the first restart at the same place on the circuit or even raised his foot when the German Vettel struck him.
Vettel claimed after the finish that Hamilton braked harder than usual at the end of turn 15, just before the second restart, which shocked him and made him enter the back of the British driver.
On the other hand, Lewis Hamilton insisted that Vettel’s shot just before the second start of the race. Hamilton said that Vettel’s volley was not voluntary, arguing that the German had simply lost control of his care because he held his steering wheel with only hand.
“We are world champions, we are the best drivers in the world,” Hamilton said. “Maybe if you pass your hand through the window of your road car when you drive it, you will turn right, but that does not happen to u in Formula 1“We have been racing in motorsport and have been driving in these cars so many years that it simply cannot happen to us.” he added.
Meanwhile, the chief executive of the Formula 1 Group Bernie Ecclestone, concludes and knows a bad move when he see one, but when it comes to the both drivers clash on Sunday, Ecclestone appears to defend Sebatian Vettel.

“As far as the Hamilton against Vettel incident is concerned, these things happen in racing,” Ecclestone said to a sport media. “I think that was to put Vettel in trouble by breaking and make the accident happen. Vettel’s reaction was normal to let Hamilton know that he was aware for this reason.” he added.
