Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman has opened his voice regarding rumors that his club will soon bring in Erling Haaland. Unfortunately, in his statement, Haaland was reluctant to talk much.
At this time the rumors about Haaland’s arrival to Barcelona are very fast circulating. Barcelona is also one of the other European teams that are rumored to be ready to sign the Borussia Dortmund player in the summer transfer market 2021.
Responding to the news, Koeman himself did not want to discuss it too much. Because, he respects Dortmund, as a club that currently has the Norwegian passport player.
“Haaland? This is not the time to talk about players who do not belong to us to respect the club, “said Koeman, quoting from Goal, Sunday (21/3/2021).
Furthermore, Koeman said he did not really like talking about players who were not his players. Therefore, the Dutch coach admitted that he only wanted to focus on his players who still needed improvement.
Especially in the closest match, Barcelona will meet Real Sociedad in the 2020-2021 Spanish League continued match. The match will take place at the Anoeta Stadium, Monday 22 March 2021
“There is talk of signing but I don’t like it and I need to focus on tomorrow’s game and the players we have,” Koeman continued.
“We will talk in the next few weeks about where we can improve. However, I will not respond to players who do not belong to us, “he added.
Currently, Barcelona itself is focusing on the Spanish League competition after being eliminated from the 2020-2021 Champions League. In this domestic competition, Barcelona still has a great chance to win the title.
Even though they are in third place in the standings, Barcelona is only four points away from Atletico Madrid who are at the top. Therefore, Barcelona needs full concentration to face every match in the Spanish League.
