Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel has praised Manuel Neuer for his remarkable recovery from a broken leg, saying that the goalkeeper should be “proud of himself” for his efforts.
Neuer has been out of action since December last year, when he broke his leg in a skiing accident.
However, he is now set to make his return to the starting line-up in Bayern’s Bundesliga game against Darmstadt on Saturday.
Tuchel has been impressed with Neuer’s dedication and determination throughout his rehabilitation, and he believes that the 37-year-old is now ready to return to action at the highest level.
