Be a devoted disciple, Bagnaia Dedicates Victory to Rossi

Ducati factory rider, Francesco Bagnaia, shows his devotion as a student at Valentino Rossi’s VR46 academy. Francesco Bagnaia dedicates victory at the 2021 Valencia MotoGP race to the recently retired Valentino Rossi.

Pecco, Francesco Bagnaia’s nickname, managed to finish the Valencia MotoGP race which took place at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, Spain, on Sunday (11/14/2021) in a duration of 41 minutes 15.481 seconds. He became the leading rider with a 0.489 second advantage over Jorge Martin (Pramac Racing) who finished second.

For Bagnaia, this is the fourth victory he has won in the 2021 MotoGP season. This achievement is an improvement from the previous two seasons, when Bagnaia failed to win with the satellite team Pramac Racing.

The victory at the Valencia MotoGP also feels special because this is the last race in the world championship calendar for the 2021 season. Bagnaia without a doubt dedicates this special victory to Valentino Rossi, who has had his last race in MotoGP.

He was also grateful for everything that Rossi had given to the VR46 academy. “I want to dedicate this victory to Rossi. I thank him for everything he has done for us at the academy,” Bagnaia said in an interview after the race.

After that, Francesco Bagnaia said he was happy after winning the Valencia MotoGP race. According to Bagnaia, winning the last race is the best way to end the 2021 season. “I am very happy because before the weekend, I was not at all sure to do a race like this. However, with all the developments that have occurred this season, both in terms of racing style and bike, I have come to be one of the fastest riders,” said Bagnaia.

“So, I’m very happy, we won today, and that’s probably the best way to end the season.” Bagnaia finished second in the 2021 MotoGP standings competition. He collected 252 points and was 26 points behind Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamnaha) as the world champion this season.

Despite failing to win, Francesco Bagnaia succeeded in making Ducati the best team in MotoGP 2021. Bagnaia and his teammate, Jack Miller, worked together to contribute points for the factory Ducati team. Ducati then leads the MotoGP team standings thanks to a notch 433 points. They are 53 points ahead of Monster Energy Yamaha which is in second place.
