Ruben Amorim is said to be eyeing four strikers to sharpen the attack on Manchester United’s front line.
Man United have scored few goals throughout this season. In total, they have only managed to score 13 goals in 12 matches in the Premier League.
The Daily Mail believes Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres is a long-term option. However, Amorim is currently targeting four other striker candidates to be recruited in the January 2025 transfer market.
The Red Devils may only recruit one or two additional strikers in the early transfer window. However, there are four players who are on the list of candidates.
The first is Omar Marmoush. Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush is considered the main option. Marmoush has become a star in the Bundesliga this season by scoring 11 goals in the same appearance for Frankfurt.
If Man United are serious about bringing in the striker, the Red Devils must prepare 50 million pounds to woo Marmoush.
The second candidate is Victor Osimhen. The Napoli forward is also on the second list of considerations. Oshimen is currently on loan at Galatasaray after trying to leave Napoli in the last transfer window.
Oshimen has scored eight goals in 10 games this season including a brace against Tottenham in the Europa League.
The third candidate is Randal Kolo Muani. Kolo Muani has only started twice for French champions Paris Saint-Germain this season.
The Ligue 1 side are reportedly open to a loan or outright sale deal for the France international, who was signed for a hefty fee of £77m last year.
The final candidate is Victor Boniface. Boniface is on the target list but is said to be difficult for Man United to get. The reason is that Boniface is still shining with Bayer Leverkusen.
So far Boniface has scored eight goals in 15 games in all competitions this season. Last season he scored 14 goals in 23 Bundesliga games to help Leverkusen win the 2023/2024 title.
