Bundesliga results: Bayern Munich are too strong for Frankfurt

Bayern Munich successfully frustrate Eintracht Frankfurt 5-2 in the Bundesliga at the Allianz Arena Stadium on Saturday (23/5).

Entering the second half, Lewandowski added to Frankfurt’s misery. His header utilizing a Kingsley Coman cross forced Trapp to pick up the ball from the goal for the third time.

After having the upper hand, Munich had oversized. Martin Hinteregger managed to package two goals and change the score to 2-3.

Unfortunately, Frankfurt player Gelson Fernandes makes a blunder that ends in disaster. Davies wins the ball and easily conquers Trapp to widen the score to 4-2.

Hinteregger who had opened up hope for Frankfurt instead took action in the 74th minute. He made an own goal as well as making an end game 2-5 for Bayern Munich excellence.

  2. This victory makes Munich keep a distance of four points from its closest rival, Borussia Dortmund.

  4. Thomas Muller packed 17 assists in 27 Bundesliga matches, equaling Kevin de Bruyne’s record while playing at Wolfsburg.
  5. Robert Lewandowski goes top of the Bundesliga scorer with 27 goals, matching Ciro Immobile’s collection of goals in the Italian League domestic competition with Lazio.
