Serie A giants AC Milan are rumored to have set a selling price for their ace defender and captain Alessio Romagnoli who is linked to several of Europe’s top clubs.
Manchester United, Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Juventus were believed to be eyeing Romagnoli’s signature in the transfer window next summer.
Opportunities for interested clubs to bring Romagnoli will be bigger if Milan fail to qualify for the Champions League next season because the 24-year defender will choose to leave the San Siro.
Official Tag of Romagnoli
Reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan claimed to have set the official price for Romagnoli, which reached 60 million euros.
Even so, Milan actually hasn’t wanted to release Romagnoli. The Rossoneri also hoped the former AS Roma player would be willing to stay longer.
Romagnoli himself this season is believed to be the captain of Milan. He had a good influence on the MIlan squad so they considered it would be difficult to find a replacement for the class of Romagnoli in the transfer market later.
Happy in Milan
Romagnoli was rumored to be moving to Juventus. But the Italian squad dismissed it and confirmed that he was happy at Milan.
“I have never heard of this rumor. The transfer market has not opened and I am very happy at Milan. I see no reason to change clubs.” Romagnoli said.
“It is an honor to be the captain of Milan and this is a rumor that I have never even heard before. I am happy at Milan, I am happy at Milan and as long as I am happy, I want to stay here. “
