“Our priority within Gymnastics Canada is always the safety of our athletes. Sports should be a safe place for everyone, and we’re working hard to ensure that we have the policies and procedures, as well as the education and resources in place, to ensure the safety of all of our participants.” Richard Crepin, chair of Gymnastics Canada’s board of director said.

Meanwhile, Larry Nassar, former USA Gymnastics team doctor, was sentenced to 60 years in prison for saving 37,000 child pornography videos.
