Dani Carvajal has told Real Madrid to sign Paris Saint-Germain striker Neymar next summer instead of Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann.
Neymar has been heavily linked with a move to Santiago Bernabeu in recent weeks. The Brazilian was stretched off in PSG’s match against Marseille in last February, leaving him in tears.
“This question is very difficult to answer, but when Neymar was in Barcelona, he made me suffer a lot, so I hope Real Madrid to sign Neymar,” Carvajal said.
In last October, the defender had been ruled out of action with a heart problem. According to the doctor, Carvajal diagnosed with a viral pericardium infection.
“It was a virus that went straight to my heart. In the first days I lost my voice a bit and then my chest began to hurt a lot.” Carvajal said.
“I thought it was a bad cold. I went to training and told the doctor. I trained and then the tests gave back a strange result, and we went to the cardiologist. I wasn’t scared, but then you start reading about it.
“The worst thing was those five weeks that I couldn’t do anything, they became eternal. Sometimes I went to Valdebebas just to see my teammates.” Carvajal added.
Real Madrid currently sit 15 points behind Barcelona at the top of La Liga with their chances of retaining the title all but over.
“We and Barcelona are certainly deadly enemies. Barcelona should be able to get the La Liga championship this season,” Carvajal said.

“Of course it bothers me that they can win the league, as they would have been bothered by our double last year. It is the best part of football.
“We knew that we aere going to face them at 200 percent and that was it was. From the draw until it was played, it was long because there was a lot of news: look how Neymar is, how Cavani is? Who isn’t worry by Neymar lies; I didn’t like him getting injured. I wish I had played in the first leg.” the 26-year-old defender added.
The Los Blancos defeated Ligue 1 champions PSG 2-1 in Paris, Cristiano Ronaldo and his team-mate Casemiro scored as Madrid qualified for the quarter-finals on 5-2 aggregate in round of 16 Champions League.
