Barcelona won 5-1 over Ferencvaros in the Champions League Group G match at the Camp Nou Stadium, Wednesday (21/10).
The match immediately started with Barca’s dominance, but Ferencvaros looked bold to carry the ball. The first 10 minutes are quite evenly matched, straight into high tempo.
Slowly, Barca’s domination was inevitable. Ferencvaros is cooped up in his own playing field, just waiting for the counterattack.
Messi, Coutinho, Fati, the three Barca players are the most active in threatening. Several opportunities have been created, there has been no goal.
Ferencvaros almost took the lead in the 20th minute through Isael. But Isael’s shot hit Neto’s goalpost.
Barcelona had the opportunity to take the lead in the 27th minute after being awarded a penalty by the referee because Lionel Messi was tackled by Adnan Kovacevic.

In the 68th minute Ferencvaros was awarded a penalty after Gerard Pique fouled Tokmac Chol Nguen. However, excessive protests made the referee give Pique a red card.
The advantage through the number of players and penalties was not wasted by Ferencvaros. Igor Kharatin, who became the executor of the penalty, managed to reduce the score to 1-3 in the 70th minute.
Even though they lost in the number of players, the hosts were still able to increase the lead to 4-1 in the 82nd minute through Pedri’s goal that took advantage of Ousmane Dembele’s pass.
Seven minutes later, it was Dembele’s turn to put his name on the scoreboard while locking Barcelona’s 5-1 victory over Ferencvaros.
