Bayern Munich to the semi-finals of the Champions League after winning 8-2 against Barcelona in the quarter-finals at the Da Luz Stadium, Saturday (15/8).
In the first half, Bayern Munchen won 4-1 through two goals from Thomas Muller (4 ‘and 31’), Ivan Perisic (21 ‘), and Serge Gnabry (27’). Meanwhile, Barcelona minimized through David Alaba’s own goal in the seventh minute.
Munich again tried to surprise Barcelona at the start of the second half. However, Ivan Perisic’s shot in the 49th minute was caught by Ter Stegen.
Lewandowski scored against Barcelona in the 53rd minute after receiving Muller’s pass. But referee Damir Skomina annulled the goal because Goretzka was first offside.

Reporting from Transfermarkt, this is also Barcelona’s second biggest defeat. The Blaugrana’s biggest record loss occurred when they were beaten by Sevilla in 1940.
Bayern Munich’s biggest victory was also said to mark the end of Barcelona’s dominance in the Champions League.
