Former NBA player Chandler Parsons said on FanDuel TV that he feels bad for LeBron James with the Los Angeles Lakers’ disappointing momentum.
According to Parsons, it seems that even acting at a high level, the star cannot make the franchise better. Thus, for a player of that level, it can generate great frustration.
“I was frustrated. LeBron was hot from the start of the Christmas game. The defeat must be very hard for him. That’s because he was dominating. There were no other holders with double digits.” Parsons said.
“So I don’t know what else he can do. However, it must be clear that the Lakers are a good team, but they don’t have much more to deliver. In fact, there is a lack of good pitchers. It was a game I felt bad for LeBron. It must be hard,” Parsons added.
Thus, Parsons commented on the loss of the Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks even with the great night of LeBron James. However, the team suffered the fourth defeat in a row. The star scored 38 points, grabbed six rebounds and had five assists.
James has had impressive numbers since returning from injury. In the last five games, he averages 29.8 points, 7.6 rebounds and 6.5 assists.
Moreover, he made 52.3% of field goals. However, even with those numbers, the Lakers had only one win in their last five games before beating the Orlando Magic on Tuesday.
The scenario looks even worse without Anthony Davis. Since the number 3 was injured, the Angelino team had a bad streak. Without him and with Russell Westbrook on the bench, LeBron became the only star in the starting quintet.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Davis has no prediction back to the courts. The player underwent new tests, which detailed the injury to his right foot. What was once referred to by doctors as a sprain is now a stress bruise.
