Chelsea’s victory in the FIFA Club World Cup final over SE Palmeiras in Abu Dhabi UAE last Saturday seemed to reaffirm the dominance of European football clubs in this prestigious championship. In the final round, Chelsea managed to bend SE Palmeiras from Brazil with a score of 2-1.
This Chelsea victory also maintains the dominance of European clubs because European Clubs have won 9 consecutive world championships between these clubs since 2013. It didn’t stop there with Chelsea’s victory, making the Blues the third English football club to triumph in the world club championship after Manchester United and Liverpool.

In extra time Kai Havertz finally managed to hit the Palmerias goal through a penalty kick in the 117th minute which made Chelsea finally win this final match.
