Team Spirit, The International defending champions, along with a few other qualified teams for this year’s TI edition will be present too.
China is hosting a half-million dollar LAN tournament from July 28 to August 4 with 12 teams from around the world coming to the esteemed Olympic village Taizicheng that hosted the 2022 Winter Olympic Games.
All teams heading to the Snow Ruyi Invitational received a direct invite to the tournament. While the exact format is yet to be revealed, the group stage is scheduled to start on July 28 and the playoffs are expected to run from August 1-4.

Snow Ruyi Invitational will accommodate a live audience as well, but the ticket sale details are to be released at a later date.
Tournament schedule conflict
Unfortunately, Snow Ruyi Invitational is for now almost perfectly overlapping with the second season of Elite League, which will be also held on LAN in Peru. If nothing changes in the tournament schedule, Elite League will unfold from July 25 to August 8 in Peru with $800,000 on the line. Regional qualifiers for the second season of Elite League have already started in the six major regions. The total number of participating teams at the LAN portion of the tournament is yet to be announced by ESB.
