AC Milan coach, Stefano Pioli, commented on the performance of his new player, Christian Pulisic against Bologna in the 2023-2024 Italian League. Even though Christian Pulisic appeared crazy in his debut appearance in the Italian League, Pioli refused to be lulled by the quality of the player.
Stefano Pioli also seemed not surprised by Pulisic’s slick performance. Because, that is what makes AC Milan really trying to bring in this player in the summer of 2023.
“I know that Pulisic is a talent. He is of high quality who can also play in an attacking position,” said Stefano Pioli, quoted from Tuttomercato, Wednesday (23/8/2023).
Pioli said that going forward his team and Pulisic would definitely tune in more. This is of course by continuing to evaluate from match to match so that AC Milan will get stronger.
“There are many things we could do better,” he said.

“It must have been a fantastic start,” Pulisic said as quoted by ESPN.
“I’m very excited to be part of this team. The two early goals helped us a lot because it was a difficult game after that. And for me it’s also a good start personally, it’s nice to score goals,” he continued.
Pulisic is one of many new faces for the Rossoneri.
Milan became the busiest Serie A club in the transfer market this summer, bringing in six new players.
Pulisic said the presence of his former team-mates played a role in his decision to join the Italian club.
“It’s just talking to those people,” Pulisic said.
“With Olivier we had some good experiences together, I played with Fikayo [Tomori], I played with Ruben [Loftus Cheek] and the connections are there, as you saw again tonight.
“And it’s been great to get another assist from Ollie. It feels like the perfect step in my career and I feel very, very welcome,” he continued.
Pulisic’s team mate on the Americas, Yunus Musah, is suspended for the season opener.
However Loftus-Cheek and Tijjani Reijnders were given the opportunity to make their debut against Bologna.
“We are very happy for this first game and I am even happier for Christian,” said Giroud.
“I know him very well, we play together and have a good relationship on the pitch,” he continued.
