Andy Murray said, “For a match that went three and a half hours, physically I felt way better than the last year or so. My body allowed me to play that way for the whole duration of the match. I didn’t feel tired. I felt fresh. My back felt good. I wasn’t feeling stiff at all.”
In New York, Andy Murray was defeated by Novak Djokovic and at that time he accepted the defeat by realizing that his health was not in right form. However, this was totally not the case this time. He played with complete enthusiasm against Grigor Dimitrov in Melbourne. With this great betterment in health, Andy Murray ended the match by setting a great score against him at Australian Open.
When Murray was defeated by Novak in New York, Novak said, “I felt like maybe he was tired. I don’t know if he was, but that was the feeling I got with the way he was playing at that stage”
After playing with such determination and victory, in regard to the physical improvement, Andy Murray said, “And physically I felt completely different to how I felt at the US Open last year or even here last year when I played a long match, especially in cold conditions. It was like night and day.”
This time Andy Murray has been seen into the row for 16th Grand Slam and also for six Australian Open quarter final. He is completely hopeful this year that he will surely bring victories for the fans. On great improvement in the physical health, Andy Murray lastly said, “Obviously the crowd will be right behind him. Understandably so! They’re going to watch him play a lot of matches like this over the next 10, 15 years probably. That’s just something that I’ll have to deal with in my way. I’ve played a lot of matches. I’ve played in the French Open against French players where the crowd can be very difficult. I’ve experienced it before, so hopefully I’ll deal with it well.”
So, now we can expect that Andy Murray will surely bring reforms this year. Fingers are crossed!
