Previously, Didier Deschamps was reported to be leaving his position as coach of the French national team after appearing at the 2022 World Cup. Former Real Madrid coach, Zinedine Zidane is reportedly going to replace him.
However, the 54-year-old coach has again been entrusted with continuing to handle Kylian Mbappe et al winning various titles. Although, Didier Deschamps failed to bring Les Bleus – the nickname of the French National Team – to win the 2022 World Cup.
During his handling of the French national team since July 2012, Didier Deschamps managed to give his country two prestigious titles. He successfully led the French national team to win the 2018 World Cup and the 2020-2021 UEFA National League.
After failing to lead the French National Team to win the 2022 World Cup, Didier Deschamps will return to struggle with his team. The reason is, they will undergo the 2024 European Cup Qualification round.
The French national team is in Group B in qualifying for the 2024 European Cup. Later, Les Bleus will compete with four other European teams.
