Eden Hazard is optimistic that he can bring the Belgian national team to the 2022 World Cup

Belgian national team striker, Eden Hazard is confident that he can bring The Rode – the nickname of the Belgian national team – to win the 2022 World Cup. This will happen if he is in the best condition.

The Belgian national team will play a match against Morocco on the second matchday of Group F of the 2022 World Cup. The clash will be presented at the Al Thumama Stadium, Qatar on Sunday (27/11/2022).

Hazard’s chance to return to this match is also quite large. Especially after he was able to give an impressive performance in the first game, even though he had not been deployed at club level for a long time.

Hazard also assesses his ability to improve, with the number of games played. He was happy to be able to show his quality in the first game.

“My condition will be better, with more games played. It’s all up to me to play my best. This is to confirm that I am still in the best condition,” Hazard said, quoted by The Sun.

Not only that, the Real Madrid player is also confident that he can bring the Belgian national team to victory. He feels he can still perform at his best and contribute to the team.

“Belgium can become world champions, if Eden Hazard is at his best. I feel in good shape. I was able to play 65 minutes in the first game and did well. However, we can improve as a team,” he concluded.

If they manage to win in the match later, Belgium’s road to qualify for the next round will be even smoother. Because, they are currently at the top of the 2022 World Cup Group F standings by collecting three points.
