The boos for Mbappe continued when Martinez brought a baby doll with Mbappe’s face on it. She brought the baby doll to Argentina’s World Cup victory parade in Buenos Aires.
Martinez’s treatment seemed even worse when he lifted the baby doll beside Messi. For his attitude, the French press labeled Emiliano Martinez as the most hated person. In fact, he won the Golden Glove award.
Martinez also made indecent moves after getting the Golden Glove trophy. He held the trophy and pointed it at his genitals. The pretext was that Argentina fans booed him after Argentina’s victory. That’s why Martinez acted the way he did.
Former French national team player, Adil Rami, also criticized Martinez’s dishonorable behavior. Through his Instagram story, Rami wrote down his disappointment with the Argentine national team goalkeeper.
‘The biggest boy in football’ and then calling him ‘the most hated man’,” Rami wrote on his Instagram account.
Rami himself has made 36 appearances for France. His performances with Les Blues in the 2010 and 2018 seasons were unforgettable. He retired after France’s victory at the 2018 World Cup.
