Enea Bastianini the Winner of 2024 Emilia Romagna MotoGP

Enea Bastianini became the 2024 Emilia Romagna MotoGP champion after a pretty tense race. Starting from third position, Bastianini was then able to overtake Francesco Bagnaia and occupy second place.

The duel between Jorge Martin and Francesco Bagnaia immediately occurred at the start. Both of them spurred the bike fast. Martin took the lead, but Bagnaia was able to get ahead of his rival at the first corner.

Enea Bastianini, Brad Biner and Pedro Acosta are trailing in the top five. While Marc Marquez was in seventh place and then moved up one position.

Martin continued to press Bagnaia. The act of overtaking between Martin and Bagnaia became a sight that spoiled the eyes of MotoGP race lovers. Meanwhile, Bastianini continued to stalk the two riders in front of him.

On the third lap Martin was able to overtake Bagnaia at turn eight. The Pramac Racing team driver then left Bagnaia who was also slipped by Bastianini on the fourth lap.

A fierce duel occurred in the fight for the top position between Martin and Bastianini. Both were almost two seconds ahead of Bagnaia. Acosta, who was in fourth place, then fell on the ninth lap, precisely at turn 15.

Ten laps passed, Martin and Bastianini were still involved in the chase. In third place, Bagnaia began to be under the threat of Marquez.

Bagnaia’s speed also made him close to Bastianini, but still in the range of 1.8 seconds. Meanwhile, Bastianini continued to keep a distance from Martin by about 0.6 to 0.4 seconds.

In the last 10 laps, Bastianini tried to stick to Martin again. The difference of about 0.3 seconds is the difference between the two riders.

With seven laps left in the race, Bagnaia crashed and could not continue the race. Marquez also moved up to third place because Bagnaia crashed.

Until the last laps, Bastianini continued to approach Martin. The distance is now about 0.2 seconds.

Martin had a wide range on the 22nd lap, but Bastianini could not overtake the leader of the standings. The two were still a fraction of a second apart.

Bastianini’s best effort next occurred on lap 24. Again Martin was still able to maintain the leading position.

On the last lap Bastianini was able to overtake Martin at the fourth corner. Martin was made depressed by the style of overtaking Bastianini until he protested while raising his hand.

Bastianini became the first driver to finish, followed by Martin, and Marquez.
