Chelsea won 2-1 victory over Arsenal in the London derby in Week 20 of the English Premier League at the Emirates Stadium, London, Sunday (29/12).
Arsenal dominated the game in the first round. Many times the opportunities obtained by the Gunners, including through David Luiz’s free kick which is still appropriately captured by Kepa Arrizabalaga.
The superiority of the new host was created in the 13th minute through the contribution of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Mesut Ozil’s corner directed by Calum Chambers to the far post which was immediately struck by Aubameyang to tear Chelsea’s goal.

Abraham Luiz’s shot was blocked while Azpilicueta’s header was over Leno’s crossbar.
In the 75th minute, Abraham got a golden opportunity to equalize. He was superior to the top duel when receiving a Willian corner but his header was caught right by Leno.
Arsenal, who continued to be pressured by Chelsea in the second half, had a chance to increase their lead to 2-0. However, substitute Joe Willock’s kicking who was in a free position in the penalty box was thin on the left side of the Arrizabalaga goal.
Chelsea continued to press finally able to equalize the score to 1-1 in the 84th minute. Leno’s mistake of reading the direction of the opponent’s free kick led to a goal scored by Jorginho.
The Brazilian midfielder was not guarded and easily struck the ball into the empty goal that was left by Leno.
Four minutes later, Chelsea turned 2-1 ahead in this fight. Willian bait in the penalty box can be maximized by Abraham to tear Leno’s goal and make the score 2-1.
After the goal, both teams continued to display the attacking game even though no additional goals were created. Chelsea came out victorious in the London derby with a score of 2-1.
