The captain of the England national team, Harry Kane, emphasized that he would put in an all-out performance against the Spanish national team in the Euro 2024 final. He does not want the Three Lions to repeat a bitter story like in the Euro 2020 final in July 2021.
As is known, England will challenge Spain in the final of Euro 2024. The match is planned to be held at the Olympiastadion Berlin, Monday 15 July 2024.
Even though they were successful in reaching the top match, quite a lot of people criticized England’s game. However, Gareth Southgate’s men actually advanced to the final by silencing the Dutch national team with a score of 2-1 in the semifinals.
Spain is definitely not an easy opponent. Moreover, the team nicknamed La Furia Roja has been perfect since the group stage, always achieving wins without ever losing or drawing.
Kane is aware that Spain is not an easy opponent. Therefore, the Bayern Munich player emphasized that the English players would appear determined in the upcoming final match.
“We will give everything to win,” said Kane, quoted from TribalFootball, Friday (12/7/2024).
The 30 year old striker wants to maximize this momentum as best as possible. Kane doesn’t want a repeat of the Euro 2020 final defeat. This time, he wants to make the British people happy with the Euro 2024 trophy.
“We missed a step at the last Euro. “It hurt us for a long time,” Kane said.
“I know this has been detrimental to the country for a long time. “We have worked very hard to reach this moment and we will do everything possible to bring the trophy back,” he concluded.
